FINAL REFLECTION

1.  Can you see an improvement on your level of English in the past year/s?  Where, for example?

Yes! I think that I improve a lot, specially in the writings and in the listening. Nowadays I have more facility to understand all that the teacher says than at the beginning of the course.

2. Which activity best shows your level of English?

For me the activity that shows my level english are the writings, because I really like to write in English, and you know, when you do a thing that you like it, you make it better.

3. Which activities were really USEFUL for you to improve your English? Why?

In my opinion, I think that the best way to learn another language, like English or French for example, is make oral  activities or writings because if you go to England the most important thing that you need to know, is how to talk with the people and how to write. There are a lot of people that when they do grammar are an experts, but when they try to do a writing they don’t know how to do it well.

4. Which activities did you NOT find useful to learn English? Why not?

Maybe the activity that I didn’t find useful is read the book that it’s called “the best of times”, because It’s the worst book I ever read.  Maybe is better to change this book and read another one with a more interesting topic, because if you read a book that you don’t like it, you will not learn anything.

5. Which activities would like to do again next year to keep on improving your English?

For me, I missed to do a discussion once a month. For example, every thursday of the second week of the month, one student should bring an interesting topic and the rest of the class  should discuss about the topic during 30 minutes or something like this. I think that this is a form to improve our level of English, because we need to improvise all that we said, and it’s different as an oral presentation that all are prepared.  With this activity you simulate a situation like if you are in England.
